event on windows

i recall seeing someone mentioning that event.pm now runs under
windows. is that true? is there a binary for it? activestate lists
event.pm as a ppm but it only shows various unix flavors.

i have some old versions of event that mentioned unix and never
windows. the current docs don't even mention any OS's from what i can
tell. that may imply it runs on windows too. if it does, i think there
should be in the docs a list of OS's it runs under and that pass the
tests.
