This could be avoided by a global data attribute but well ... I read the discussion of yesterday again and understand somebody
could have a need for package specific data storage. Well, but if so, why should this inhibit global data which are very
useful as well? What if the target package is passed to the data attribute, and if omitted, data is stored globally? As the
debugger example illustrates, it can be difficult to detect the right package automatically ...
