this fixes the test bug. but i still notice a delay in dispatching idle
events. maybe i am not thinking about them the right way. my need is to
queue an event that will happen after all pending events have finished
being dispatched. when i queue an idle event it seems to execute after a
delay (unknown reason why). i think your semantics for idle are
different than my needs for a plain event that is just executed in the
near future. is the freshly set idle queue looked at if there are no
other events pending? i can probably fake what i need with my own plain
event queue if idle doesn't map right.
