Tk on MacPerl?

Hi,

I have been writing Perl for a few months, and just
started using the Tk module.  Is this module ported to
MacPerl?  If so, how do I go about installing it?

CPAN seems to be toasted on both G4s I tried
installing on.  I noticed that others have had similar
problems with lockups during manual configuration.
The workstations I am trying to install on are also
behind a campus firewall, which seems to complicate
FTP transfers.

Is there any MacPerl distribution available with Tk
built in?  Any other alternative that doesn't require
writing Mac-specific code [which defeats the purpose
of using Perl]?
