Regarding InterfaceLib, my (file-) version is 3.4, this should correspond to Universal Interfaces 3.4, if I got that right. 

FetchFontInfo() is declared in Fonts.h, where you can find the note that it is only available in InterfaceLib 8.6 and later, which here means the Mac OS System version. The problem is,  FetchFontInfo() is *not* called by Shuck, at least not directly. (In WasteBuffer.cp, GetFontInfo() is called, but this function is available since version 7.1.) Generally, I expected Shuck to run with System 7.1 or higher, since I was careful not to use anything that would require a more recent system.

Have you any ideas why FetchFontInfo() is required?
