Yes, my suspicion originally was that the MacPerl script should have handled the calls as Alan notedm but I similarly wonder if MacPerl could still handle it more gracefully. So I think I will leave the bug open, with a lower priority, so someone may feel like dealing with it someday. But yes, it is not a very serious problem, since it is very avoidable if you Do The Right Thing (as is the case with other kinds of crashes when using Toolbox modules, too, but it doesn't stop people from crashing).
