Hi, I have a new Shuck ready, what I suggest should become version 1.50. In addition to last weeks preview, there's now also a Preferences menu item to change the default tab value that's used in text parsing. Also there's now a Windows menu. I've increased Shuck's minimum and default memory size, to avoid crashes due to low memory situations. With the old settings, Shuck's memory problems already begin at about 5 open windows; the new settings allow for at least 20 open windows, which seems to be a more reasonable number. The sources compile fine with MrC and SC, although I was not able to build a 68K version. Since I can not link against the static 68K Metrowerks WASTE 2.0 library, I tried a CFM68K version. But the GUSI (and probably all other)68K libraries were not compiled with the cfm68k segment model, so I was not able to link against them. However, Codewarrior should be able to build a FAT version (it's probably best to link in WASTE 2.0 statically ?). I've attached Shuck 1.50 to this email (private copy only) for playing ;-). If you like what you see and there are no objections, I will commit the changes to the Shuck CVS repository. Btw, I was not able to build the new Help index file, simply because I don't know how. I've looked at the "BuildHelpIndex" and "BuildLibraryIndex" scripts, but cannot get them to work. Any hints?
