There might be another reason:

Till now, nobody depicted the necessity to me to
upgrade to MacPerl 5.6.1.
Where can I read about the advantages?
Did Alan Fry contribute a new editor?
Is a function printl (or println) included (which
at least is needed for the elegance of tiny demos)?
