Sigh... I figgered that out. But only after I bit the bullet and fired up the d/l anyway at about 4:45 this AM, in the hopes that earthstink wouldn't disconnect me until after all the data had stopped transferring. It wound up taking only 1-1/2 hours at an average rate of what appeared to be about 3k bytes/sec. I tried it, seems to work just fine for my simple apps...
