I recently acquired a Quadra 605 to play with, and I was wondering if it has built-in speech recognition (I thought I heard that some of Apple's computers did), and if I can use the speech recognition with MacPerl. Also, the Quadra is the only Mac that I have, and I was wondering if there was some way to get MacPerl on it? It doesn't have any Internet connection, so I have to download MacPerl on a Windows box. How can I put MacPerl on floppies so that the Quadra can read it? By the way, the only software that the Quadra has is whatever is comes with System 7. So if I need StuffIt to make this work, I have to figure out someway to install StuffIt using the same process (download on the Win box, put on floppy, and copy to the Mac). Is this possible without special software on the Win box? Thanks, Tom Panning
