Question about MacPerl in WebStar

Hi! We have Webstar server which is hosted by our
webhosting company.  They installed MacPerl to that
WebStar Server and I tried to upload a cgi file via
FTP.  When I tried to run it, it gave me an error like
this:
 Error! Unable to execute the requested CGI
application.

Did our webhosting company correctly installed the
MacPerl?  Please tell me on how to fix this problem,
because any cgi files that I tried to upload didn't
work, so please advise.  Hoping for your prompt
response.  Thank you very much.
