For the low level scripting I do MacPerl works just fine. Good as a test
base before putting a script into production on a Linux server. I've had no
problems with MacPerl 5.6.1, but the n my network/processor overhead is
low... main problem I had lately was with transferring to Linux. Mac servers
are too nice. If you don't put a HTML header line into your script they put
one in for you. Apache is not so obliging.
