I am using my PC, Win98, PWS and > Active Perl v 5.6.1 You got something against using ActiveState's mailing lists? The answers you'll get over there will be more specific. The mailing lists are not really high-volume. And the people are not unfriendly. (Although I can't figure out why my thread asking for a comparison of CPAN and PPM has disappeared from their archives.) Thought I'd paste in some URLs, but http traffic seems really heavy. More viruses? (Off to check symantec. Doesn't look unually bad.) Here's your URL: http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Browse/Threaded/ActivePerl You could probably even do a search for "taint flag", if the traffic lets up a bit. -- Joel Rees <[email protected]>
