Re: [MacPerl-WebCGI] need help with My first perl program

I am running Mac OS X and Apache 2.0.

I find that it seems that Apache2 is installed into
/usr/local on my machine(under terminal command line)?

But when I tried to add some html file into
/usr/local/apache2/hotdocs/

and add some .pl file into /usr/local/apache2/cgi-bin
to try to run web-cgi in perl.

It is said permission denied. I cannot use
chmod under the directory either.

I wonder 
1)how to
change the attribute of directory such as
/usr/local/apache2 into writable.

2)What are the  dirctories such
as /usr/local on
the harddisk in Mac Windows.

3)Would you tell me how to publish my first html
file and cgi in perl under Mac OS X?
