uploading MacPerl scripts

Hi,

I have searched, maybe not hard enough, through the threads and have not
found an answer to the following question:

Is there a way to transfer my MacPerl scripts (as they are an application -
saved as cgi scripts) through FTP without loosing the mac specific data? I
do most of my scripting remotely and it would be nice to upload a script and
be able to impliment it immediately. Is this possible?
