ASIP MacPerl Problem, Please Help!!!!

hi everybody,

Lead in:
I just got access to a ASIP box and I installed MacPerl so I could 
learn some neato perl stuff.

Problem:
Whenever I access a cgi via the web, it gives me this lame screen on my server:

"This program relays MacHTTP search AppleEvents to Macperl.

It will terminate after 5 minutes of inactivity.

[ Quit Now ]"

and the client gets this:

"The attempt to blah blah failed."

This sucks, if I press "[ Quit Now ]" on the server it allows my cgi 
to run, once.  The process of running it brings up this dialogue 
again and causes the clients to get the blah blah error.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
