By "anyone who hits backtick quoting bugs", I think I'm only talking 
only about windows users -- and they might have a sane set of modern 
modules available.

And, remember:  we can't have prereqs.   (And if we could they would 
probably get screwed up most of the time anyway because supposedly 98% 
of the install base is living in the past!?)
