I think it would be logical to extend the functionality of the script Configure.
and make information on z/OS(OS390) more advanced.

I think that changing the file name hints/os390.sh not necessary. It will be enough to change the information on the command

:> perl -V
Summary of my perl5 (revision 5 version 21 subversion 11) configuration:

  Platform:
    osname=os390, osvers=23.00, archname=os390
    uname='os390 rs12 23.00 03 2964 '

change field 'osname' 'osvers' 'uname'
To do this in the tool uname use option -I

I will test the Configure script with 'uname -I'

also need to make changes to the documentation  and add that there is support  z/OS version 1 and 2
