Difficult question ... ;)

well, as Michael noted, my L::D::Config works just nicely in 95% of
the cases, but there might be cases where you want more flexible
configuration on threshold/package, which is supported by
Log4perl. (But you should consider the fact that I've never had any
experience with it ;)

So I don't mind we adopt Log::Log4perl as a standard of p5ee logging
module. API/format compatiblity is not necessary in many cases, but
it is a Good Thing [tm] from the viewpoint of promotion.
