I'm trying to get a general idea of how to do a menu system for a large
suite of programs in Perl. Using Basic it would be something like this:

    RUN the menu program
    user picks a task
    RUN the task
    task may RUN other programs
the last program RUNs the menu program

But there is no "RUN" in Perl. Do you 'exec'? Load modules? I'm talking
about systems that use hundreds or thousands of programs.

I'm sure TIMTOWTDI but I'm just looking for a standard or general way to do
it. I've gotten myself de-Basic'd in many ways but this one is still stuck.

...and it's probably different between character and Tk too...
