Hmm. This smells like PAR is factually a discontinued product. The official
PAR website par.perl.org is dysfunctional as well (it links to the perl6
web site).

It makes me wonder whether it is wise to invest a lot of time and energy in
making applications suitable for PAR packaging.

But OTOH, what's the alternative?
