Please provide the versions of the following modules that you are using:

  Module::ScanDeps
  PAR
  PAR::Packer

Did you build PAR::Packer yourself? Esp. did you run "make test" and it passed?

Does this problem show for a simple "hello world" program, e.g.

$ pp -o hello.exe -e 'print "hello, world\n"'
$ ./hello.exe

If yes, please include the complete output produced by running hello.exe.
Otherwise, provide a failing example script.
