I believe we have several bikesheds that are both at least partially
painted "deprecated" right now:

    Things we intend to remove

    Things we consider to be poor form, but don't plan to remove

In the interest of not starting a long, off-topic discussion about the
nature of the English language, I'd like to solicit two things *off-list*:

    1) Other patterns that we've been using "deprecated" for

    2) Suggested names for these things

Please don't reply directly to p5p. I suspect most list members would
rather this topic get..er...buried.

I'll summarize to the list and maybe we can end up with some simple
terminology we can use, so that we can spend our time hacking rather
than arguing about semantics. ;)
