By popular request.  If we have something we think will be even 
remotely controversial, we'll move it to p6l for debate, then use p6d 
to summarize the outcome.  That will concentrate the debate in one list 
instead of two.  (Think of it as throwing your raked leaves into the 
neighbor's yard.)  :-)

Let's give it a try and see how it works, but it sounds good in 
principle, and people have been requesting it.
