Than so should the DOS and Windows camps. Either we go out of our way
to make as many people happy as possible or we should stick to our
roots on unix.

BUt clearly Larry isn't going that route. We should think about the
problem and see how we can accommodate them.

Yes. Check the p5p archives. And I believe that our esteemed internals
head honcho is (or was) one of them.
