Correct.  Furthermore, since Kerberos is released under the MIT license,
they could have based their code on it anyway if they'd really wanted to.

Kerberos is an interesting case, BTW, because MIT is currently enforcing
something very similar to the Artistic License with Kerberos via other
means.  The license would allow someone else to release their own
"Kerberos," but MIT holds the *trademark* on the word "Kerberos" and can
use the *trademark* to enforce compatibility with the specification.
