Coming from someone whoe probably wrote more RFC's than anyone else (I
count 33), I find that pretty ironic.

But no, I don't think the RFC process is a failure. I sure hope that the
collection of accepted RFC's is the blueprint for Perl6. Because, for
one thing, I really despise the idea of placeholders as a "data type"
(They're not. It's like saying a witch is not a woman. They're just
scalars, but which "enchant" the expression they're in.) Curried
functions have their uses, but not in this syntax. Far too much
ambiguity. I sure hope Larry shoots this idea down.

And there are plenty of other idea's that haven't even been RFC'ed,
mainly because of lack of time. Writing an RFC for a relatively simple
idea took me *hours*. Unofficial discussion is sooo much simpler.
