Hi Andy,

How that directory got its permissions changed
is a mystery.  I should have look at its
permissions before deleting it.  It may have
not been changed at all.

Under Fedora, dnf (the installer) will not
install/upgrade programs as a user.  You
have to be root.  I do not see how the
installer would have even known where
I even rat pack my modules.

Maybe the new verions of Raku addressed the
.precomp directory somewhat differently and
just needed to have the new way updated?

Also, although this is Fedora and not Windows,
maybe the error message did not make sense.
A lot of Windows error message are nonsensical.

After my first pl6 run as a user, the directory
recreated itself and populated without complaint.
