I've now [done so](http://github.com/theory/pod-simple/commit/833369387cafae19d0affe02f8ea31aac86f6d07). I'd appreciate it if folks would `git clone` and  test it with their Pod infrastructures to make sure that there are no unexpected consequences before I release it.
