documentation asked and pod formatter to texinfo?

Hello,

Unless I have missed something, seems that Pod::Parser is not used much,
and pod formatting used within perl uses Pod::Simple and most formatter
have switched to using Pod::Simple except for the formatter to DocBook.  But
this information is not that easy to figure out.  Maybe there should be
a note about that in the documentation of Pod::Simple, with a sentence
telling which flavor of Pod::Simple is more similar with Pod::Parser?
Maybe I did miss something, though...

I am willing to do a Pod::Simple subclass for conversion to Texinfo.  Is
there anybody working on it?
