Yeah, I know the feeling.

I'm actually subscribed to svn-dev (although I don't read half of it,
they're even busier than p5p [any volunteers to write weekly summaries
by the way ?]). Besides this, I must say that I haven't encountered
problems in my everyday job as a svn admin & user, that I couldn't fix
by 1/ an upgrade or 2/ blaming it on the users.
