It seems like O/B does everything you need. Just yank the code out of there and re-tool it for what you need. No point going through the XS interface to get at your own internals... In the end, I'm not sure what happens to O/B. I don't think it works anymore, since Parrot isn't actually something you can reverse-engineer into Perl fully.
