Thanks, but it is the ways in which PHP is not similar to Perl which
cause me to disfavour it. I'm sold on Perl and so would like to be
able to use GD from Perl. Given that it has already been ported for
use with PHP, I wanted to know how to get it working with Perl.
Sadly this mailing list wasn't very forthcoming. I get the impression
that Richard Proctor is the only other person still subscribed.
