You speak as if we should know what that is. Is there somewhere
that we can find out more - maybe a list of known bugs and
whether they have been fixed, and if so in which version?

http://hard-mofo.dsvr.net/unixlib/ doesn't seem to have much
about the state of current development, and certainly no bug
database or development schedule.
