Hi,
I'm sure I've seen it on a c.s.a.* newsgroup some time ago, but I've
searched Deja and can't find it, so I thought I'd ask it here:
The example scripts in the A Stroll Through Perl chapter in O'Reillys
Learning Perl books (the Llama and the Gecko books) mostly start with the
line:
print "What is your name? ";
$name = <STDIN>;
Unless I add a newline, the input isn't seen until enter the input. Adding
a newline doesn't help with later inputs, which all appear after a correct
word has been input blind.
Do I need to add something for the correct output on a RISC PC?
Steve
