I'm not sure that all of them are relevant anymore (for example,
some of them do things that we generally use modules for now). 

But it would be worthwhile to incorporate the ones that are still
relevant. I also think that it would be good to somehow integrate 
tchrist's scripts in with the rest of the script area 
(not sure what Tom would think of this idea).  

I like the idea of one-stop shopping.  It's probably an 
impossible goal, but the closer we can get to it, the better. 

Just my 2 cents.
