Ah, the fatal counterthrust!  Fair enough.  I suppose we have to draw
the line somewhere, and there's no reason to draw it such that PDL is
omitted.

Some people will never make GIF graphs, some people will never make a
GUI module, and some people will never need to calculate the inverse
hyperbolic cotangent of a Eulerian ring system defined by only 4.5M
points (or whatever it is that you do with PDL :-).
