Section 3 of the GPL requires that if you ship binaries, you must also
either:

    Ship the matching source

    Offer, in writing, to give the source to anyone who asks for three
    years.

    Add the information you received when you were offered the
    opportunity to distribute the binary (only applies to
    noncommercial redistribution of the binary code of others)

I don't think the third options is applicable; it's too limiting.
That leaves including the source or including a written offer to
provide the source.  Shipping the source is just easier.
