Having just gone through all the manuals I can perhaps see the point of including one of those two modules. However, I don't see anything in either module that is not possible using POSIX::strftime or Date::Manip. I agree very strongly with Nat that the SDK needs to provide a standard set of "This is your problem? This is your solution." modules.
