I don't think so. Actually, I'm pretty sure that that script was posted on
this very list, not long before it started to be archived. Digging up the
oldest messages I see what I thikn is a reference to that thread at
http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/mailing-lists/perl-sdk/1999-09/msg00012.html.
It's a message by Stephen, in which he also mentions having more perl-sdk
messages in his folder than are archived, so maybe he's still got them,
