Since the documentation is still quite sparse, it might not be apparent
how sidekick handles patches. I have put up the work directory for
crypto-sdk at http://vipul.net/perl/sources/crypto-sdk/sdk/. Patches are
stored under source/patches.

I don't think I would need it. I plan to parse directory listings on CPAN
to determine new releases using Sort::Versions. The same code will work
for non-cpan packages distributed through FTP.
