One of the things that would be very useful would be to have at least a list
of up to date URLs to pre-req software that isn't Perl.  I've found a number
of cases where CPAN Perl modules require some library but give the
person no idea where to find the software.  It would be nice to give a list
of authority sites one could use to get the additional software.  It would
be even nicer to include versions of the software known to work with the
modules, but perhaps that is more than people want to worry over.
