that is what open source is all about. as long as you don't resell it
for profit (IANAL) you should be able to print and copy them. run them
through pod2man and groff and you can get very nice looking postscript
pages. when perl5 first came out that is how i made my first manual. i
used a nice high speed double sided laser printer at work. i wouldn't
print the entire thing now, but you can make a very nice subset out of
them.

yes, you should get the library to get all the recommended perl books so
you check them out.
