Slidify perldocs

Greetings.  Today I taught my first class of perl training, with
very good results, by summarizing and translating the excellent
perlboot.pod into Chinese, and put it into make-slides format:

I'd like to express my gratitude to Randal and MJD, for their
high-quality works without which it'll be impossible for me
to prepare my delivery in merely one hour's time. :-)

The client company expressed their willingness to support Taipei.pm's
effort of continually "slidify" perl manpages into course format,
preferably in both languages.  The intention is to make materials
available for mongers to teach people efficiently without resorting
to the dense documentations or books.

We plan to reformat ooperl.slides into perlboot.slides.en &
perlboot.slides.tw, and make it available through my homepage or
Taipei.pm's upcoming site.

Next week's topic will be perlmod.slides; after that, perlutil.slides
and perldsc.slides has been talked about.

Now, some questions:

- Will these works be of general utility? i.e. would anybody be
  interested in seeing them in English? :-)

- Which one(s) do you think are most useful to slidify?

  I ask this because we originally thought to do them in order
  of appearance in v5.8.0's perl/pod/perl.pod (i.e. perlintro,
  perlreftut, perldsc...), but some in the "Reference Manual"
  section (perlmodstyle, perluniintro, perlutil...) seems to
  be more fitting into the slides format.

- Copyright issues.  I think to summarize and translate a manpage
  is considered making a derivative work; as most of the manpages
  distribute under a Perl-compatible license, this should be
  okay to do -- please correct me if I'm wrong.
  
- The only manpage that requires "special arrangements be made
  with copyright holder" is perlreftut, which is written by MJD
  and copyrighted by The Perl Journal, 1998.  Hence, should I
  contact the SysAdmin magazine for slidify that manpage?
