they currently have 4 perl books (and a couple in the works i think) and
IMO all are winners, the above 2 and elements of programming with perl
and extending and embedding perl. pretty good batting average.

the only other publisher that comes to mind with a decent perl selection
is addison-wesley.

do you all know about the perl books page at books.perl.org? you can
search by publisher and see their perl selections. also you can rate
them and post reviews. it is a good place for perl adovcates to point to
as a sign of the strength of the perl community and market.
