Directory Structure changes in Perl 5.8.9 as compared to Perl 5.8.1r5

Hi All,

	In one of my project I was using Perl 5.8.1r5 version. And it has one directory <extracted path of perl>/ext/XML.
	Now I am planning to use Perl 5.8.9, which supports windows 64bit operating system.
	In this package I am not seeing this directory.
	Just wanted to check if there is any specific reason for removing this Directory of XML in Perl Version 5.8.9.
