I've lived here most of my life. I've lived in nice areas and really bad
areas. I've never had any crime fall upon my person with the exception of
having my car broken into once or twice.

As long as you keep your eyes open and are aware of your surroundings, you
should be ok. Things can change very fast around here. Where I live, there
are blocks with nice family houses and crack dealers hanging out on the
next block over.
