That's a good question. Being a north-sider, I'm not familiar with the
area. Are there decent restaurants within walking distance? The FAQ
mentions that there are a few places close by.

I would think that the cafeteria would be better equipped to handle the
large load of people. If you go to a place that is a 15 minute walk away,
you've already wasted 30min of the lunch break in travel time. Then the
place has to handle 100 like minded attendees that they weren't expecting.
It could take an hour just to get served.

Dinner would be a different matter. You'd have all the time you need. For
lunch I would imagine that the cafeteria is a better bet. It would be more
relaxed and a chance to mingle some more.
