I don't know if suicide by drowning could be considered sexy, but as one wh=
o was almost drowned, there might be something to that.  I was 19 and was o=
ut with friends and we were swimming in a relatively shallow lake.  The lak=
e was maybe 10 feet deep, but had a lot of growth along the bottom.  While =
swimming, I was diving down to see how far down I could go and how long I c=
ould hold my breath for.  As I swam along the bottom, a piece of that growt=
h got wrapped around my left ankle.  I couldn't get free, and I lost consci=
ousness.  It didn't take anyone long to realize I was missing, and a friend=
 jumped in to see where I was.  When he saw my body, he knew I was unconsci=
ous.  he tried to free my ankle but couldn't.  He had to get back to the su=
rface and get a knife, then jump back in to cut the growth away from my ank=
le and float me to the surface.  By then, I was out for almost 4 minutes, a=
nd my heart had stopped.  (Not the first time that happened!)  I don't know=
 who the person was, but someone began CPR on me (not the first time I had =
to have that either) as soon as they got me on shore.  I was so close to de=
ath that day!  Looking back and remembering what I was feeling as I struggl=
ed to free myself, it was quite a euphoric feeling as I was drowning.  Mayb=
e it was the feeling that I was dying made it feel that way.  I had felt th=
at same feeling twice before that, once when I was 14, and again a year bef=
ore this incident.  Both times involving two of my three suicide attempts!=
