	You can do better than that. I think about everything I read.

	They are operating all over the place - they organise the shipping
of people from various places *through* Europe to the UK. 

	Why to the UK ? Because that's where they are based and where they
can use the people in their sweatshops and brothels. France is just the
last stop before the UK for those that come by boat, others come in
shipping containers and don't always go through France unless they're using
the chunnel - some were recently found in Rosslare passing through on their
way to the UK.

	Not believing everything you read in the papers is fine and
sensible but do some joined up thinking and ask *why* do these people come
and *why* do the people organising it bother to bring them to the UK when
they could just abandon them in France or anywhere else along the way. 

	These people have already paid for their passage, are way past the
point of return and almost certainly none of them could identify their
smugglers. Abandoning them would be the simplest thing to do, but the
smugglers go to great lengths to bring as many as possible to the UK. Which
means they expect to get more from having these people *in* the UK.

	If they were French gangs they would be bringing them to France to
work in sweatshops and brothels there.

	Once again - why is nobody in the UK going after these UK gangs. If
you like conspiracy theories speculate on connections between government and
gangs as well as police corruption.
